I have ordered new apple trees!
I went for:

Red Devil - This popular dessert variety is a great choice for organic gardeners. It produces highly decorative bright red apples that are crisp with a superb strawberry flavour. The juice is a beautiful pink colour. Resistant to scab and mildew. Suitable for wet areas.

Bramley's Seedling - The U.K’s favourite cooking apple. The original tree was grown from a pip in Nottingham in 1809. The large fruits cook to a pale cream puree with strong acidity and flavour. Very attractive bright pink blossom. Stores very well.
Scrumptious - This new early bright red dessert apple is something very special. Named for its wonderful complexity of flavours, it has been described as sweet, rich and honeyed, aromatic, fragrant and fresh. An excellent garden variety, it is heavy cropping, has good disease resistance and the blossom is resistant to frost. Suitable for the north and wet areas.
I ordered all 3 from Pomona Fruits, who I bought cordons from last year. They have the best range of cordons that I've found so far and I got 2 of the above trees on sale :)  I'm so excited about our lovely bright red Snow White-esque apples, and lots of delicious apple pies!
